Actually I wanted to write about “What Leads To A Good Life” but then I thought it’s easier to start with the bad stuff. The stuff which leads to a
Bad Life
To just point out that trying to avoid these things as much as possible or avoiding them at all should help preventing having a bad life. These points should just be a starting point and should be used as a base for directing to a Good Life. And I don’t want to say that if you drink one coffee a day this will lead to Bad Life. It’s just, the less you let these things come into your life the better. So here is an unordered list of things which lead to a Bad Life:
- Smoking
- Alcohol
- Sugar
- Caffeine
- Making fun of others
- Being pessimistic
- Label yourself too much
- Giving Money and Status a high priority
- Giving Luck a high priority
- Let others decide for you
- Only Taking
- Staying in toxic relationships
- Gossiping
- Prefer external validation over internal validation
- Sit all the time
- Not caring about your diet
- Don’t exercise
- Lies
- Not caring about your sleep
- Saying “Yes” all the time
- Believe in everything what others tell you without doing your own research about a topic
- Don’t listen
- Staying in your comfort zone and never experiment
- Having no goals at all
- Don’t accept failure
- Giving past and future more value than the present
