Did you ever struggled how to answer the question:
“How are you?”
or
“How are you doing?”
if you really should say that something bad happened to you and you feel really sick because of it?
Or just answer with
“I’m fine. Thanks.”
or you give the question back
“I’m fine. Thanks. How are you?”
and the other person is surprised first and also doesn’t know what to answer, probably at least the generic answer then
“I’m fine too. Thanks”
Since I’ve read the book The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment I just answer the question with how I am in that moment when I get the question. So it’s really easy without any thinking but still with honest meaning.
“I’m fine. Thanks”
Even if something bad happend a day ago or even hours ago. I don’t care, because in that moment of the question I am alright, so I just say how I feel at that moment. I just want to point out not to think too much about what happened in the past.
