During my morning routine I currently spent time on a new side project, called Remotejob.global. A very good friend of mine is working on it too. There was a bug where I spent longer time than I thought and I almost gave up, wanted to take a break for a longer time or continued with some other task to try to fix it at another time. But as in most of situations like this I thought maybe there is something I didn’t consider and I’m just one try away of fixing this stuff. I fixed it in the end.
When I’m in situations like this I’m also thinking about a mountain where you want to reach the top. You hiked already some time and you don’t have any idea how much longer it will take to reach the top. You have no power anymore and you just want to quit and go back, but in reality there is some fog between you and the top and you’re not far away from reaching the top (reaching your goal, fixing this bug, call it what you want).
So this reminds me to
Never Give Up!
